U.S. Marine Corps AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTION SPECIALIST in Quantico, Virginia

Summary You will serve as a AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTION SPECIALIST in the ?Communications Strategy and Operations of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO. Responsibilities You will oversee audiovisual productions for MCINCR-MCB Quantico and its tenant commands employing a wide range of principles, practices, methods, and techniques for communicating information through audiovisual means. You will serve as the lead for all COMMSTRAT studio videography and audio recording sessions. You will produce or oversee the production of a wide range of videos in support of the Marine Corps mission and story as needed by MCINCR-MCB Quantico and its tenants. You will maintain continuity between base tenants and commands for all audiovisual production support, providing subject matter expertise (SME). You will receive and schedule all video support requests, including confirmations, follow-up and product dissemination. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning or executing audiovisual productions that visualize instructions tactics, techniques, training, briefs, and other information services. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree with a major study in photography, radio or television production, motion picture production, or other fields related to the position. OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree with a major study in photography, radio or television production, motion picture production, or other fields related to the position.
