The Production Operator II is proficient in the set-up, start-up, continuous operation and shutdown of the assigned manufacturing equipment and processes using adherence to Standard Work Instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices, and current Good Documentation Practices

This position reports to the Value Stream Leader and is part of the Production Operations department located in Putnam, CT and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Operate production equipment to manufacture product per standard work.

  • Follow a weekly schedule and communicate potential production issues to manager in a timely manner.

  • Complete all documentation and follow all GDP guidelines related to manufacturing processes in a timely manner.

  • Follow all practices and procedures regarding safety and quality compliance including OSHA, cGMP, ISO 9001 & ISO 14000 requirements.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) with 2+ years manufacturing experience

  • Push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Go up and down stairs to operate equipment.

  • Basic math and computer skills

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • · Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lbs, or any other physical requirements

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in an ISO or cGMP environment preferred.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $19.00 - $21.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
