Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. Technician Intern in Pullman, Washington

As a Technician Intern, a typical day might include the following:

  1. Test, repair, convert, and troubleshoot problems of basic complexity to the component level on SEL products.

  2. Provide basic product technical support to SEL staff and customers.

  3. Develop and maintain knowledge in SEL processes and products in order to ensure product quality and integrity.

  4. Provide support to engineering staff and management as needed.

  5. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

  6. Understand. Create. Simplify.

  7. Other duties as assigned.

This job might be for you if you have: 1. Been pursuing a 2 year electronic engineering technology degree 2. Basic working knowledge of analog and digital electronics 3. Familiarity with modern test equipment 4. Good technical writing and presentation skills 5. Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills 6. Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities 7. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment 8. Electronic troubleshooting experience 9. Knowledge of SEL equipment

Pay Range Data

($17.00 - $26.50 per hour)* Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate). Talk to your recruiter if you are curious about the rate for your year in school.
