Available Title(s): 678M-YNCSNPS - Custodian 5 Business Title: Custodian 5 Employee Type: Classified Position Details: Summary of Duties: Supervise assigned personnel performing custodial and general maintenance work in multiple building complexes. Planning, organizing, executing, controlling, and evaluating all activities and functions of assigned work crews in assigned facilities including budgeting for and maintaining supply levels, analyzing the need for additional staffing and equipment, enforcing policies ensuring procedures are followed correctly and making recommendations for changes to policies and procedures. As a successful candidate, you will work the swing shift from 6:30 pm to 3:30 am. Required Qualifications: • Two years experience supervising or directing others in large-scale housekeeping, janitorial, general or building maintenance or custodial work; OR equivalent education/experience. • High school diploma or GED. • Possession of, or the ability to obtain at the time of hire, a valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications: • 6 months or more in-depth knowledge of custodial procedures as performed in Facilities Operations.
