Liberty Latin America Senior Director, Handsets, wearables & accessories in Puerto Rico
What´s the role?
As a Senior Director, Headsets, you will handle the quarterly definition of the SKU portfolio for terminals, accessories, and wearables, and negotiate purchase prices and promotional discounts with suppliers. In this role you will estimate aggregate demand on a trimester rolling basis with weekly adjustments, you will track weekly equipment availability, and ensure correct distribution across channels like stores, authorize retailers and DTC with commercial oversight. Additionally, you will follow up on equipment blocking management, manage inventory to avoid obsolescence costs by tracking items at risk and generating action plans, and prepared monthly profit and loss statements, including revenues, costs, provisions, and direct business margin.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Define SKU portfolio of terminals, Accessories and Wearables - Quarterly
Negotiation with suppliers includes both purchase price and promotional discounts.
Estimate aggregate demand for terminals, accessories and wearables: 3-month rolling.
Weekly adjustments and revisions
Weekly tracking of equipment availability (days of inventory).
Ensure correct distribution in channels: stores, AR, DTC. Although this is a logistics responsibility, it requires commercial monitoring.
Follow up equipment blocking management
Inventory management to avoid obsolescence costs.
Weekly tracking of terminals, accessories and wearables at different levels of future risk of future obsolescence.
Generation and tracking of action plans to mitigate risks.
Monthly P&L of the handset business
Revenues
Costs, provisions etc.
Direct business margin
Demonstrate and ensure compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty PR and LLA policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures.
Other functions that may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervise and provide mentorship to a group of employees in the Commercial Department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
What do you need?
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration is required. MBA preferred
10 - 12 years of experience in recognized multinational telco organizations
Experience in leadership role is required

- Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English).
