Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced engineering leader to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the success, growth and continuous improvement of our air-cooled chiller products. You will have the opportunity to lead a talented team and collaborate with other leaders to make a significant impact on our product quality, delivery, cost and customer satisfaction.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.

Responsibilities:

· Customer-centric leadership, prioritize and address the needs of both internal and external customers, deploying engineering resources effectively to support our air-cooled chiller products.

· Proactively respond to and resolve quality and reliability issues, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.

· Ensure our products comply with performance standards, regulatory requirements, quality goals, and cost targets.

· Oversee product testing and certification processes to meet customer, regulatory and agency requirements.

· Lead the development and application of DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, and root cause analyses to support product lifecycle engineering.

· Provide guidance and leadership to product engineers, designers, lab technicians, and other team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

· Oversee the usage, compliance, and revisions of Trane purchased part Engineering Specifications.

· Create, maintain, and communicate project and resource allocation plans, ensuring efficient use of resources. · Contribute to budget and financial reporting as needed.

· Play a key role in developing the skills and capabilities of our engineering team.

· Lead VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) opportunity assessments and project execution to enhance product performance and reduce costs.

· Be open to travel both domestically and internationally, up to two weeks at a time, with an expected travel time of approximately 10%. Ability to attain necessary visa for travel when applicable.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.

· 5+ years’ experience in product development, design, or manufacturing of HVAC systems.

· Proven track record in supporting HVAC products from development through commercialization, supporting VAVE and sustaining engineering projects

· Knowledge of design, manufacturing and quality practices and processes, with familiarity with Lean and/or Six Sigma principles.

· Understanding of industry standards and regulations, including UL, ISO, IEC, ASME, CRN, and AHRI standards relevant to industrial cooling system

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $

Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
