What you will do:

Cement manufacturing plant in Pueblo, Colorado is filling the position of Automation Engineer. Duties include supporting the Maintenance Manager to maintain the engineering systems for the automation of the plant and assure continuous operation. Will support operations teams during normal plant operations and troubleshooting processes. Will perform analysis of electronic and automation equipment using Continuous Improvement (CI) and High Performance (HP) methodology to detect potential areas of improvement, and will select the adequate instruments equipment, and controls for the application and implementation of solutions.

Requirements:

A degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Process, or Industrial Engineering is required. Must have 15 years of experience in the cement manufacturing process. Must have experience with long dry, preheater and pre-calciner technology kilns, experience in running plants from control room, a solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, chemistry, physics, and mathematics, and solid understanding of cement quality, quality control, and required process changes to raw mix quality variations. >> Only qualified candidates need to apply. <<
