Job ID- 132275 Full/Part Time- Full-Time Regular/Temporary- Regular Staff and Administrative This position joins a collaborative team of relationship builders to provide consistency, vision and alignment with priorities through the BYU Chapters and Replenishment Grant program structure. This individual leads one of the core functional teams in Alumni Relations, and provides strategic and tactical support to regional, college and professional chapters by recruiting, interacting with and coaching Alumni Chapter leaders and executing plans related to chapter activities that support and advance the mission, brand and influence of Brigham Young University. The person maintains relationships with several campus entities as they relate to Alumni chapter engagement. All essential functions (below) are augmented by providing meaningful and mentored experiences for student team members. Essential Functions Manage BYU Alumni Chapters program Work directly and develop productive relationships with a selection of regional chapters and college/professional chapters Serve as primary campus contact for assigned regional and college/professional chapter leaders Promote True Blue program and lead persuasive efforts to meet True Blue status goals Ensure chapter events, branding, communications, and objectives are consistent with BYU and BYU Alumni mission and strategic plans Identify and train volunteer leaders, including onboarding of new chapter leaders Manage all facets of chapter trainings (live, on-demand media, ChapterPedia) Ensure Chapter Reporting system is functional and meets needs of chapters Manage Chapter Toolbox (AlumniTools) and other digital offerings via increased automation and innovation that leverages MarCom and Technology teams Support and guide volunteer chapter leaders as they plan, promote and execute programs and activities; includes (but not limited to) activity plans, design, printing, distribution, venue selection and budgeting Use the Replenishment Grant program and BYU Connect to promote a culture of giving and mentoring among alumni and students Review and ensure accurate and timely communications (digital and print) with chapter members Ensure accurate and timely reporting of chapter activities Recognize and celebrate chapter success Monitor budgets and track expenses Research and recommend new innovations that align with Alumni Relations priorities Oversee the BYU Alumni Replenishment Grant program Oversee logistics and administrative support for the Replenishment Grant program Maintain ongoing communication with all stakeholders Monitor budgets and fund accounts (incl. chapter budgets, endowments and recipient awards) Promote program messaging to chapter leaders Report on annual impact of student support, generally and segmented (by college, region, etc.) Assist chapters in the student application process Assist and monitor chapters in the selection and awarding of grants Assist Alumni Director and Leadership team in strategy, planning and delivery of major Alumni events Alumni Chapter Leadership Conference, Alumni Boa d Meetings, others as needed Ensure all necessary administrative support is delivered in a timely and professional manner Provide support to the BYU Alumni Board Interface with Executive Committee of the Board in planning meetings and trainings May serve in ex-officio capacity on BYU Alumni Board as assigned Work directly with the Vice President of Chapters, Vice President of College Directors and Regional Chapter Directors Host current, past and potential Board members Manage special projects, provide administrative support, and participate on university committees as assigned Education/Experience Minimum required: Requires a Bachelor¿s degree in a related area or equivalency and 3 years of progressively more responsible relationship-based experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required. A related field may include but is not limited to: Business, Communications, Event management/Experience Design, and Public Relations.
