Duties: Develop scalable, fast, robust, and simple web-based solutions to solve complex business problems; Implement new features and optimize existing ones to drive maximum performance; Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from other engineers, tech-ops, and product managers; and attend daily stand-up meetings, collaborate with peers, prioritize features, and work with a sense of urgency to deliver value to customers.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; plus 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer/Developer or in a related occupation. Alternatively, requires a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field; plus 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer/Developer or in a related occupation. In addition, requires any amount of experience with all of the following skills: 1) One object-oriented programming language, such as Java, Javascript, Angular, Node, php, Python, C#, or C++; 2) Web infrastructure and distributed systems; 3) Relational databases and SQL; 4) Software development tools: Code Editors (VIM and Emacs), and Revision Control Systems (GIT); 5) UNIX including file manipulation and simple commands; 6) Building highly scalable performant solutions; 7) Algorithms; 8) Javascript specific technologies (libraries, frameworks) including Angular, Node.js, and React.
