Volunteer and Program Sustainability Coordinator AmeriCorps VISTA
Position Type: Full-time, 1-Year Service Term (AmeriCorps VISTA)

Overview: Are you passionate about making a lasting impact in the community through education and digital inclusion? We are seeking a dedicated AmeriCorps VISTA member to join our team as a Volunteer and Program Sustainability Coordinator. In this role, you will help build sustainable systems for volunteer engagement, program delivery, and outreach to ensure the long-term success of our Digital Inclusion efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Volunteer Outreach & Engagement:
- Conduct bi-weekly check-ins with volunteer instructors to assess class progress and identify needs.
- Gather feedback from instructors to improve curriculum and support systems.
- Document challenges and successes to help inform future program adjustments.
- Grant & Resource Research:
- Research and compile a database of potential grants and funding opportunities.
- Develop templates and outreach materials to streamline the grant application process.
- Build relationships with grant officers and potential funders to secure long-term partnerships.
- Student Enrollment & Curriculum Development:
- Create a digital system to monitor student enrollment and progress.
- Develop multilingual curriculum materials to accommodate diverse student needs.
- Establish protocols for updating and maintaining curriculum and enrollment tracking systems for future program leaders.
- Photo Documentation & Program Marketing:
- Create systems for managing photo documentation and release forms in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Work with the Marketing Director on a monthly basis to promote Digital Inclusion initiatives and update the website calendar.
- Develop a plan to advertise at local fairs, festivals, and schools to recruit volunteers and students.
Qualifications:
- Valid Utah Driver's License and access to personal vehicle for use during working hours.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with ability to learn new software applications
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience in community outreach, education, or nonprofit work is a plus
- Passion for digital inclusion and community engagement
- Spanish language skills is a plus
Work Schedule: The typical work schedule will be 8:30am-5:00pm.This is a full-time 40 hrs./week position based at our office in Provo, UT. However, working hours may vary and may include occasional night or weekend hours.
