Wencor Group Llc Assembler I in PROVO, Utah

Overview of the Position: Assemble several components into a final assembly using blue prints and or a set of instructions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble individual components into final assemblies following work instructions.

  • Follow a set of written instructions and procedures without deviation.

  • Handle parts and components carefully to avoid damage.

  • Operate shop equipment safely

  • Assist in other areas as required

    Education/Experience Requirements:

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination

    Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be able to keep up in a fast paced environment.

  • Must be able to stick with a task for long periods of time.

  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing sketches to determine dimensional requirements, and other special instructions.

    Mathematical Skills : Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

    Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; and lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Is frequently required to talk or listen.

  • Works in intermediate noise levels, such as production areas, and shop floors.

  • Minimal travel required.
