JOB SUMMARY

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the corporate office HR team in conjunction with the Leadership Development Program team. This position provides hands-on human resources business partner support to designated finance teams within the corporate office and participants within the Leadership Development Program (LDP).This position will also work closely with our finance leaders to provide full cycle HR guidance, will support the execution of our talent initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

In this position, you will:

  • Serve as HR partner to finance & accounting leaders and employees and implement HR strategy to enable the achievement of business objectives across the corporate offices, including finance leaders and finance & accounting LDPs across the enterprise

  • Collaborate with leadership on career/talent development, organizational design and talent management efforts with respect to their teams

  • Collaborate with functional leadership and business unit HR to understand the functional skills needed within the businesses, aligning to the strategic direction for each business unit and as a result, propose a workforce plan with the businesses to capture necessary full-time and internship class size and assignments for each year

  • Provide counsel and guidance to employees and leaders related to employee relations issues

  • Lead finance talent review process in partnership with the finance leaders across the enterprise

  • Partner with recruiter and hiring manager to set recruitment strategy and oversee recruitment process

  • Plan and execute on function-specific curriculum and functional conferences. Propose changes to conference content that addresses current and future capability and/or skills needed within functional areas or across the organization

  • Partner with the rest of the Corporate HR and team in regard to corporate office related events – summer intern program, wellness fairs, etc.

  • Perform fundamental data submissions, reports, policy applications and procedures with accuracy and in a timely manner from which the request was received

  • Protect and maintain the privacy of employee personnel records including, but not limited to, personal and compensation information about employees

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

  • Travel approximately 20%

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business, or related field

  • 5 years previous experience in HR Business Partnering or other relevant experience preferred

  • Strong influencing and consulting skills

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Possess strong planning skills and be adept at dealing with ambiguity

  • Comfort with higher management

  • Ability to successfully manage competing priorities

  • Team player, willing to step in to support team wherever needed
