We are seeking a skilled Braun Mobility Vehicle Conversion Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the conversion and modification of vehicles to accommodate Braun mobility solutions, including wheelchair lifts, ramps, and custom accessibility features. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our conversions meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

What will you be doing?:

  • Perform conversions and installations of Braun mobility products, including wheelchair lifts, hand controls, and other adaptive driving equipment.

  • Modify and retrofit vehicles to meet specific customer needs and accessibility requirements.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues related to vehicle conversions.

  • Conduct quality checks and safety inspections on all completed conversions to ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, including parts used and services provided.

  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain conversion features, maintenance tips, and safety procedures.

  • Stay updated on the latest Braun mobility products, conversion techniques, and safety standards.

    What are we looking for?:

  • Technical certification or relevant experience in automotive, electrical, or mechanical fields.

  • Previous experience in vehicle conversions or working with mobility products is highly preferred.

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and conversion instructions.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
