Manager, Clinical Nurse Educators - Job ID: 1127DescriptionThe Manager, Clinical Nurse Educators (CNE) will be responsible for leading and directing the efforts of a team of field-based, contracted CNEs. The Manager provides operational support for executing the CNE strategy and delivering on the annual objectives and initiatives.The Manager will ensure the CNE team effectively works with HCPs (staff responsible for injection training) to educate on product and device education to support patients. The Manager will ensure the CNE team is focused on patient education via live and telephonic touchpoints with supplemental educational support to HCPs as time allows. The Manager will ensure the CNE team complies with all corporate policies.As a customer facing function, the CNEs build relationships with HCPs, Patients and Caregivers by:Delivering product information (safety, efficacy, dosing and administration), device training, and patient management education ensuring compliant utilization of our medicinesEvaluating the effectiveness of educational programs to increase knowledge base of HCPs, Patients, and CaregiversDriving cross functional planning and partnership across the Endocrinology franchiseThe position will be field based and will report directly to the Sr. Director Global Clinical EducationKey ResponsibilitiesProvide direction to the CNE vendor, including objectives, KPIs, and training program implementationLead and work with the CNE vendor to ensure program implementation and execution of the business plan to educate the market within all geographical areasPartner with legal/compliance to provide functional expertise that shapes CNE policies and proceduresLead in the development and execution of Account Education plans that align with the CNE priorities/objectivesApply a relevant customer centric mindset when interpreting trends and evaluating future opportunities; able to apply relevant information to develop plans that positively impact customers Partner with the Patient Support Program and maintain specific standard operating procedures, business rules, process flows, communications and day to day operations management Gain understanding of the patient journey and utilize to optimize patient engagement and adherence while on therapyPartner with the commercial field team and commercial training to provide product, disease and clinical education to the contracted CNE teamLiaise with Patient Advocacy team to develop innovative solutions to meet patient needsPartner with Marketing, Sales and Market Access Leadership to define Clinical Nurse Educator role in supporting account specific objectivesIdentify and remove operational barriers to company and team effectivenessConnect with key customers and external experts to continuously seek customer feedback on opportunities to positively impact patient healthCollaborate with Commercial Analytics team to evaluate existing analytics capabilities, develop additional tools to identify trends and secure resources that meet customer educational needsCoordinate with Commercial Analytics team to define CNE program logistical and administrative needs, pilot, launch and manage the ongoing operations of third-party program logistics vendor Assume responsibility for coordination and management of scope, content and timelines for CNE initiated projects with third party vendorsEstablish relevant success metrics and ensure team clarity and accountability in meeting and/or exceeding stated objectives/metricsEnsure CNE vendor receives clear guidance and cascades messages to CNE team re: industry regulations and company SOPsRecognize changes and emerging market trends in the marketplace as well as develop and implement alternative plans to achieve commercial and corporate objectivesPossess an in-depth mastery of clinical, technical, product and competitive landscape knowledge related to growth hormone deficiency, hypoparathyroidism, achondroplasia and all product devicesIdentify and resolve customer issues, educational opportunities, and market developments through internal partnersAttend and participate in franchise meetings, training classes, conventions, and other business activitiesAssist in the design of disease and product training curricula, or training programs, using adult learning principlesProvide strategic direction for the planning, design, development and implementation of training modules and materials, as well as the technology tools (LMS) required for implementationProactively uncover and assess gaps in the knowledge of the Commercial organization, and work with the Commercial team and other departments to address themRequirementsExperience which includes at least 1 year of industryExperience with a minimum of 5 years working as a nurseExperience as nurse manager/directorEndocrinology experience preferred but not a requirementBA/BS required Excellent communication, both written and verbal;
