Infrastructure Operations (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Princeton, NJ): Infrastructure Operations (a/k/a Application, Infrastructure & Service Management) responsible for Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge and Configuration management for infrastructure platforms. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day governance of operations processes driving platform availability. In collaboration with the business, technology peers, and vendor partners, will ensure that State Street’s businesses have optimized services and operations, enabling greater availability, performance and reliability in the delivery of State Street products. Specific job duties include: Performing incident, problem, change, knowledge, and configuration management for infrastructure platforms; Being responsible for the day-to-day governance of operations processes driving platform availability; Ensuring that State Street’s businesses have optimized services and operations, enabling greater availability, performance, and reliability in the delivery of State Street products; Acting as the subject-matter expert (SME) escalation point of contact for major incidents for storage platform; Acting as the technical bridge between Storage Operations team members, including service providers; Instituting and governing KRIs, KPIs, and metrics related to operational procedures; Being accountable for incident, change, knowledge, and problem management; Overseeing vendor governance - SLA, compliance review, contractual commitment, service improvement; Escalating incidents on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis; Leveraging technical skills on file storage operations - in particular, NetApp; Participating in resiliency, stability, and continuous service improvement for platforms; Working on the capacity and lifecycle management of platforms; Standardizing platforms, services, and processes; and Collaborating with Service Delivery, Engineering, ITSM, Architecture, Application teams, technology vendors, Security, Application Support, and other infrastructure operations teams to operate resilient and secure platforms at industry best standards. Hybrid telecommuting permitted pursuant to company policy. Up to 25% domestic travel required. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, or a related technical field, plus 7 years as a platform engineer or any other occupation/title providing related experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, or a related technical field, plus 3 years platform engineer or any other occupation/title providing related experience.Must have: proven experience in supporting global NAS storage operations 247365 in a high demanding industry such as Banking/Finance; understanding of File Storage in particular NetApp; demonstrated solid verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated strong critical thinking, problem solving, analytical, collaboration and decision-making skills; proven experience in vendor, budget, and project management; and proven experience with NetApp, Linux, VMWare, Solaris, EMC, Hitachi, NFS, NetBackup. (Unless otherwise indicated, the company is seeking no specific number of years of experience in the noted skills, and all experience can be gained concurrently.)
