Who we are looking for :

State Street is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Disaster Recovery Coordinator to join our Recovery management team. This role is critical in ensuring the resiliency and continuity of our business operations through effective disaster recovery planning and execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating disaster recovery activities, testing, and response strategies. This position requires availability to work on weekends and during off-hours as necessary to support recovery efforts and testing.

What you will be responsible for :
Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.
Coordination: Work closely with various departments to coordinate disaster recovery activities, ensuring all teams are prepared for potential disruptions.
Testing: Organize and conduct regular disaster recovery tests and drills, including both tabletop exercises and full-scale simulations, to validate the effectiveness of recovery plans.
Incident Response: Act as a key point of contact during disaster recovery incidents, coordinating response efforts and ensuring timely communication and resolution.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of all disaster recovery activities, including test results, incident reports, and improvement plans.
Compliance: Ensure disaster recovery plans and activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Training: Provide training and guidance to staff on disaster recovery procedures and best practices.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in disaster recovery processes and work to implement enhancements.
Weekend and Off-Hours Work: Be available to work on weekends and during off-hours as required for disaster recovery activities and testing

Qualifications
3 years of disaster recovery planning and coordination.
Understanding of disaster recovery principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Proficiency in disaster recovery software and tools
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work on weekends and during off-hours as necessary to support disaster recovery activities.
Occasional travel may be required.
