About the role:

Reporting to the VP. Global Head Commercialization Model Innovation and Immunology & Inflammation (I&I), the Director, Global Commercial Innovation is responsible for growing Genmab's strategic commercial capabilities. He/She will identify, prioritize, build, pilot, and deploy innovative capabilities relevant to drive Genmab's competitive advantage and support our patients. A focus will be on how innovation and digital health will enhance customer and patient experience across the product lifecycle. It will be critical to understand the current overall healthcare model in oncology and I&I and be able to provide a vision on how innovations can anticipate and remove barriers for customers and patients. This vision should incorporate a strategy for bringing innovation, knowledge, data, tools, and disruptive technologies that will be a key to Genmab and enhancing the commercial model. This person will lead investigation, development and deployment of initiatives and provide learnings across the company to elevate the quality, standard, and consistency of the analytics, deployment to enhance customer and patient engagement. This individual will look for opportunities to generate insights, develop deployment plans, and design programs that have a measurable impact on the business. The Director of Global Commercial Innovation will work across geographies and from development through commercialization.

Responsibilities

Identify and have capability to develop and deploy elite analytics on a variety of commercial and development opportunities

Advance scanning of new technologies and improvements in digital health that might enhance or impact customer / patient experience and provide clear use cases within Genmab

Implement trigger-based analytics to engage customers in an efficient and effective way.

Personal accountability to identify capability gaps and to champion the building/development of those capabilities.

Ability to understand changing market conditions, development requirements and develop strategies to help Genmab be prepared to respond to them

Shape decisions and drive impact by effectively communicating and influencing senior management

Initiate and develop internal collaborations and builds positive, constructive relationships across all levels and disciplines (e.g., with team members, Marketing and Sales teams, external business and agency partners) to demonstrate knowledge and efforts

Demonstrate the ability to orchestrate activities across large teams and integrate/synthesize multiple outputs to drive impact

Develop a clear vision for team and aligns and engages individuals around the vision

Bring an innovative and future focused approach to work; willing to experiment to drive more material impact

Develop "out-of-the-box" solutions to positively impact organization

Use understanding of contextual information (patient, provider, payor, category, customer, competition), business practices, and P&L knowledge, to gain support for strategic recommendations

Maintain currency with standard methodologies in research techniques and information resources to improve company-wide understanding of behavior, to drive improved business decision making

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Management consulting experience a plus specifically in Digital Health

A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience which includes at least 5 years of innovation experience.

Experience with advising senior level executives, and understands, can apply and help others on the team utilize basic problem solving skills, including listening, problem definition, hypothesis generation, data analysis, translation to value, and oral and written presentation for impact is required

Ability to use primary research methodologies, secondary research data sources, and advanced analytical methods (including modeling techniques) to develop and recommend business strategies that drive growth is required.

Ability to lead an organization through change and improve/maintain engagement levels.

Agile learner and adapts to changing conditions to mobilize teams in new direction is preferred

Ability to persuade others to a new or different perspective through use of compelling data and insights to achieve positive business results is required.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$176,250.00---$293,750.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
