Position Summary:

This role will be part of the broader Cell Therapy (CT) Organization Strategy, Early Assets, and BD team. In this capacity the role will serve as the commercial lead for the early asset cell therapy portfolio in Immunology and Neurology, partnering with stakeholders from those therapeutic areas. This role will also be the WW commercial lead for Neurology indications for the CD19 NEX-T program team, and dotted line report to the VP of the Cell Therapy Autoimmune Brand Team, supporting expansion to multiple sclerosis and other neuroinflammatory conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial input on early development project teams for the cell therapy early asset portfolio in Immunology and Neurology, including the healthy donor derived allogeneic CD19 program

  • Advance strategic priorities for CD19 NEX-T in Neurology indications (MS and prioritized neuro-inflammatory indications with B-cell involvement)

  • Establish awareness and excitement for the transformational potential of Cell Therapy approaches with Neurologists through ACTION, at key scientific congresses and with Patient Advocacy organizations

  • Work closely with the other CT Franchise team members to ensure consistency of commercial input across the CT portfolio in each therapeutic area

  • Contribute to cross-functional strategic projects, and prepare recommendations to be presented at the CT leadership team

  • Identify & prioritize new CT growth opportunities and key strategic decisions, and prepare recommendations in coordination with stakeholders including building out our strategies around cell therapy disease area expansion

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required in a life-sciences related discipline (or other scientific education)

  • Advanced degree preferred, including business or scientific concentrations (MBA, MD/PhD, PharmD)

  • Minimum 8 years of corporate / business unit strategy, US/global marketing, or early commercial experience in the biopharma industry

  • Relevant experience in Cell Therapy and/or Immunology or Neurology is preferable

  • Working knowledge in strategic planning, business planning, and quantitative projects

  • Knowledge of drug development, manufacturing and commercialization processes - including a demonstrated ability to partner with R&D teams

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully and effectively collaborate, cooperate and work across boundaries internally and build strong external relationships in a matrixed environment

  • Ability to support major cross-functional strategic initiatives simultaneously

  • Strong problem-solving skills: effectively structure business problems, interpret data to identify insights and inform recommendations; leverage key matrix partners

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the presence to interface with management teams across the company

  • Proven agility in prioritizing and navigating competing demands
