We are looking for:

COATINGS market is accelerating its development in Binder Solutions and Performance Solutions segments with a strong focus on waterborne architectural and industrial coatings and adhesives end segments. We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to Lead new business opportunities and product commercialization for Novecare Coatings Markets in order to support business growth and achieve the GBU financial targets. Develop and deploy regional strategy for Novecare defined markets regionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement commercial development programs in the zone

  • To support and coordinate new product introductions to the markets

  • To provide support to sales and technical team for key customer needs to optimize interface

  • To provide support for the implementation of the global strategy regionally

  • To give marketing and innovation platform managers support implementing strategy for the end segments

  • Provide support for trade shows and major customer presentations

  • Coordinate and prioritize support from technical service, product stewardship, communication

Performance criteria :

  • Revenue / ICM realized versus target, for own perimeter

  • EBITDA growth realized versus target

  • Value and duration of partnership contracts

  • Market share growth versus targets

  • % of innovation turnover in pipeline versus total sales

  • Identified medium-term (3 years) impact of new initiative

You will bring:

  • Strong technical background with coatings emulsion polymerization, paint additives and surfactants + and minimum experience (5 years) in business marketing

  • Min. BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

  • 5 years commercial or technical experience in CASE (Coatings, Adhesives and Sealants). Industrial coatings experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of additives, surfactants and polymers used in the CASE markets

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to influence external and internal stakeholders and get things done through others

  • Strategic thinker but can execute at a tactical level

  • Ability to manage projects in a complex multi-cultural matrix environment.

  • Experience in managing large marketing and/or technical projects internally and externally with customers.

  • Financial and cost analysis skills

  • Strong computer skills

  • Industrial Coatings experience

  • Entrepreneurial, technical background, marketing skills

  • Experience in managing business or technical projects internally and externally with customers.

  • Strong communication, ability to create presentations communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Location: Central and East Coast region

  • Ability to travel > 35%

You will get:

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $105,000 to $130,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
