Summary:

Lead and drive US Market Access (MAx) strategy and execution for the Cell Therapy Franchise.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of the US integrated price and access strategy for Cell Therapy to achieve US market access objectives in alignment with brand strategic priorities.

  • Drive the development of Cell Therapy product value propositions and internal/external facing access resources and evolve those resources in alignment with competitive and access landscape dynamics.

  • Partner with the HEOR team to develop the value evidence generation plan and ensure that plan aligns and supports the brand strategic priorities; address gaps in the evidence generation plan and ensure endpoints and analyses are relevant to key access decision-makers.

  • Collaborate across the Cell Therapy Access Strategy team to ensure consistency in approach with field teams (payer and treatment sites).

  • Train and support field teams on execution and tactical pull-through to achieve access objectives and metrics.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional MAx matrix partners (Patient Services, HEOR, Worldwide Access, BI&A, Policy, and field teams) to inform and ensure engagement with and execution of an integrated access strategy for Cell Therapy.

  • Partner with the MAx BI&A team to understand and execute on data analytics and market research projects to generate market and competitive insights, benchmarking and value assessments, and pricing research to support market access strategy and data driven decision making.

  • Attend industry conferences to further Cell Therapy Access education and bring insights back to the broader Access Strategy team to inform the market access strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a bachelor's degree and an advanced degree is strongly preferred.

  • Has an in-depth understanding of US market access channels including Payers, Providers, Employers, PBMs, Specialty Pharmacies, ACOs, IDNs, etc, and their perspective in the markets, as well as trends in pricing & reimbursement.

  • At least 7 or more years' experience in the health care field, including significant experience in marketing, pricing, reimbursement, and market access.

  • Experience in oncology, hematology, rare/orphan disease strongly desired. Previous experience in Cell Therapy a plus

  • In-depth experience with promotional regulatory processes

  • Is comfortable working in a rapidly evolving scientific and competitive landscape with a high degree of ambiguity.

  • Strong influencing/negotiation skills and the ability to work at peer-level with experienced clinical, regulatory, and commercial experts.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex or technical content in a convincing way to non-technical audiences.

  • Flexible team member with a positive attitude and an ability to work collaboratively with other departments and functions.

  • Self-starter with high learning agility who can work independently without regular oversite to achieve objectives.

  • Adept at navigating international, and cross-functional organizational matrices within a diverse and cross-cultural work environment.

  • Experienced in prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results in a timely manner.

  • Skilled at working with external agency and consulting partners and managing budgets

  • Occasional travel will include Launch Meetings, POAs, customer visits, industry conferences and market research
