Genmab (Associate) Director, Medical Communications in Princeton, New Jersey

The Role
The Associate Director will support the medical communications strategy and deliverables for Genmab's approved medicines, pipeline products and technologies. The individual will be part of a global matrix team leading the planning and timely execution of medical communications content. This role will report to the Senior Director of Medical Communications and Publications within Global Medical Affairs.
We have a hybrid model and onsite presence is required 60% of the time in Princeton, NJ.
Responsibilities
Drive planning, development and execution of a global medical communication and congress booth strategy.
Partner with cross functional stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive, global medical congress strategy for Genmab's pipeline, approved products, and technologies.
Ideate innovative ideas and implement best practices regarding congress booth and other omnichannel content.
Identify and implement congress metrics to inform strategy, new tools and maximize engagement.
Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory and Compliance to ensure compliant and successful programs and activities.
Lead/support development of publications including extenders and enhanced content.
Develop scientific content deliverables (including but not limited to, scientific communication platform, FAQs) and congress content obtaining insights from key stakeholders, ensuring development of materials that are aligned with overall asset and therapeutic area strategy.
Serve as the subject matter expert on publication-related matters establishing strong working closely with both internal and external disease-area experts to ensure high quality analysis, interpretation, communication, and planning of data disclosures.
Manage annual budget and work within allocated resources, ensuring contracts, SOWs and invoices are submitted accurately and within a timely manner to ensure high quality deliverables.
Oversee agency/vendor partners to ensure timely delivery of quality content; provide direction, review developed content, and ensure process and content is consistent with Genmab SOPs.
Requirements
Advanced degree: PharmD, PhD or MD in a science subject or biomedical degree
Oncology/Hematology experience strongly preferred.
5 years in pharmaceutical and relevant industry work experience; expertise in development booth content and digital tactics including publication enhancers.
Experience in all aspects of scientific publication strategy, planning and execution during all phases of drug development and commercialization process.
Understanding of good publication practices and guidance (GPP4, ICMJE), and other guidance related to scientific data communication.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects through to completion, proactively identify potential challenges, and collaborate towards successful resolution.
Organized; attention to detail and ability to meet timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to drive and execute within a large matrix, cross-functional team.
Familiarity with publication management tools & systems (Datavision).)
Attend major congress meetings; ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 20% of time
For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:
$206,250.00---$343,750.00
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
