In support of our Commercialization Strategy, this position will develop and deliver analytical assessments, solution designs and modeling capabilities across the International Markets portfolio to provide insights into our business, enhance our customer engagement model, and make actionable strategic choices related to budget planning and resource allocation. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of marketing principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with international and country-based stakeholders to understand business objectives and KPIs, define problem statements, and translate them into projects with actionable outcomes or recommendations

  • Develop, oversee, and implement advanced analytical techniques and statistical models to evaluate the current marketing mix across brands and countries and provide recommendations for optimizing resource allocation, product positioning, and investment strategies

  • Partner on the launch, deployment, and lead continuous improvement and operations as Global Point of Contact for the markets of an end-to-end, digitally enabled omnichannel initiative, guiding customer engagement across functions and channels in multiple key markets (CE3 - Customer Experience and Engagement Engine)

  • Partner with matrix teams to understand and improve the value of CE3 to the business and our patients through in-depth market understanding, streamlined business engagement, and practically applied, data driven analytics

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging methodologies and best practices related to statistical analysis, optimization and decision support

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across BI&A, Strat&Ops and Commercial to identify gaps in offerings and use a sound mix of market knowledge, brand strategy, and machine learning capabilities to drive enhancements that improve value to the business and our customers' experience

  • Be able to effectively translate the complexity of our advanced analytics and machine learning models into business-friendly language to ensure insights and outcomes are understood across stakeholders and senior leaders

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience within analytics strategy, development and execution, strategy & operations, and IT

  • BA/BS required (quantitative area of study preferred)

  • MBA/other graduate degree preferred

  • Proficiency in Python/R and SQL

  • Understanding of applied analytics and statistics (e.g., data analysis, multivariate statistics, predictive modeling)

  • Experience working in a matrix environment and leading and actively contributing to cross-functional projects

  • Ability to draw inferences from disparate pieces of data, identify and frame key analytics, and understand and communicate recommendations in a business-friendly format

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage a heavy, multi-disciplinary workload
