Bristol Myers Squibb's Accounting Development Program consists of three one-year rotations to prepare you for a manager level role within BMS' finance organization. The rotations are crafted to help you gain hands-on exposure to a range of areas within our company and provide an opportunity for you to utilize your leadership skills and technical knowledge to drive incremental value and change. These experiences will put you on track to future finance leadership opportunities at BMS.

All rotations are based in Central New Jersey. ADP rotations are available in the following areas of the business:

• Global Internal Audit (GIA)

• Consolidations and Financial Reporting (CFR)

• Technical Accounting Network (TAN)

• US Pharmaceuticals (USP) Finance

• International Commercial Finance

• Research & Development (R&D) Finance

• Global Product Development and Supply Chain (GPS)

• Business Controls Function (BCF)

• Treasury Operations & Accounting

• Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (CFP&A)

• Tax

ADP program participants report to the program director throughout the three-year program. ADP Accountants will also receive coaching from Rotational Sponsors and Mentors within the BMS Global Finance Community. Upon successful completion of the three-year program, qualified ADP Accountants will continue in a permanent role within the BMS Global Finance community that aligns their specific area of expertise, interests and career aspirations based on the various roles BMS Finance has available at that time.

The BMS finance community strongly encourages participants to pursue certification in management accounting (CMA) and/or public accounting (CPA).

Minimum Qualifications:

· Must have completed a bachelor's or master's degree in finance and/or accounting, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2025.

· Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

· Proven capability to effectively communicate within work and/or academic environments, with the ability to adapt messages to suit various audiences

· Demonstrated leadership experience within a school, extracurricular, and/or professional setting

· US work authorization without the need for sponsorship for employment visa status (ex. H1-B status) now or in the future

· Demonstrated utilization of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in professional and/or academic settings

Preferred Qualifications:

· Ability and desire to sit for the Uniform CPA examination or CMA examination

· Previous finance and/or accounting internship experience

· Exposure or proficiency in manipulating large sets of data to perform robust analytics

· Proven track record of working collaboratively in teams

· Completion of accredited Excel or data visualization tool certificate program or course

· Desire to work towards a leadership role in a large BioPharma company

· Strong time management skills and the ability to work autonomously and within a team

On-site Protocol

BMS has a diverse occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
