As they continue to expand, our client is looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team.

Position Overview:

Seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to manage their company's accounts payable processes. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining remote work and on-site presence to ensure flexibility and work-life balance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments. Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records. Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment issues. Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and manage any overdue balances. Support the implementation and improvement of accounts payable processes and systems. Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as required by the accounting department. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment. Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and practices.
