Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

The position will require approximately 30% travel to customer sites where you will learn the install and commissioning process. This position requires programming skills from the ground up. You will be working on projects from start to finish, from concept to install. You will be designing and programming control systems for automated equipment. You will need to spec components, create schematics in AutoCAD, work with the Design team for sequencing, program the machine, and then run debugging. This position requires customer interaction and travel to customer sites for equipment installation. A support team will assist with the installation, but you will not be done with the project until the equipment is up and running at the customer site. You will be expected to manage between 2-6 projects at a time depending on their size. It is expected that you consistently update the customer on the progress of their project and maintain fluid communication. The timeline for most projects is between 18-26 weeks.
