Our client in Presque Isle, a hospitality-based non-profit, is seeking an individual with program management experience and a passion for rural economic development and community engagement to work as a Program Manager! This is a temporary opportunity lasting 15 months. Interested? Apply today!

Location : Presque Isle, Maine

Compensation : $20 - $22 per hour, paid weekly

Schedule : M-F varies

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and structuring a 15-month speaker series, including developing themes and subtopics

• Recruiting and managing top-tier speakers, facilitators, and handling contracts and logistics

• Planning and coordinating monthly events, managing venues, budgets, and operations

• Developing and executing marketing strategies, including social media, email campaigns, and community outreach

• Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, and managing program inquiries

Here’s what you need to apply:

• At least 3 years of program management experience

• Knowledge of rural communities and the challenges they face

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail or organizational skills
