Primary purpose: A SalesDevelopment Representative is responsible for actively engaging with incoming leads generated by the marketing team to qualify, document, and uncover additional sales opportunities. Once qualified, detailed and explored, leads are assigned to the appropriate Sales Representative within the organization to further build the customer relationship and close sales opportunities. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Develop and qualify new leads by engaging incoming leads driven from marketing campaigns, supplier leads delivered to the team via phone, email and the internet. Cold-calling and email prospecting efforts within a base of former customers, or lists provided from new marketing efforts aligned with campaigns. Research and Scrubs leads for identification of existing customers and route accordingly. Identifies multiple prospect contacts (high, deep and wide) as well as multiple products with purchase potential with new prospects. Understands, promotes and supports adaptation of team tools and suggests tool gaps Embracetechnical tools for research and logging of interactions Salesforce/Tableau/SAP. Entering all leads, identifying existing customer, finding products, documenting opportunities, consumptions, notes and tasks. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Bachelor's degree or1-3 years of experience in phone-based lead generation, inside sales and/or business development activities. Ability to prospect and qualify potential customers optimally virtually (email and phone) Outstanding phone skills Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office is helpful. Strong Internet Research Skills Excellent time management skills required along with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle diverse and significant workload.
