We're seeking an experienced, passionate pioneer in PLM technology for an exciting opportunity at General Atomics. As a Teamcenter Functional Architect, you'll play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions for our Engineering community using the Siemens Teamcenter platform. This position requires excellent understanding of Teamcenter functionality, business processes, and how to align PLM capabilities with organizational needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide domain expertise on complex PLM projects.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional specifications for Teamcenter implementation
Design and document PLM processes and workflows.
Lead customer workshops to understand business needs and present solutions
Develop and maintain the PLM roadmap, aligning it with business strategy
Guide the configuration and customization of Teamcenter to meet specific business needs
Collaborate with technical architects to ensure proper system integration and performance
Conduct gap analysis between out-of-box Teamcenter capabilities and business requirements.
Propose and design solutions to bridge identified gaps
Lead functional design activities and create detailed functional specifications
Participate in testing and validation of implemented solutions
Provide training and support to end-users on Teamcenter functionality
Stay current with Teamcenter updates and new features, evaluating their potential business value

Job Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in computer science, information system or related discipline and progressive software development experience as follows; nine or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, seven or more years of experience with a masters degree, or four or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
8+ years of professional experience with Teamcenter or other Siemens PLM products
Strong understanding of PLM concepts and business processes
Extensive knowledge of Teamcenter modules and their applications in various industries
Experience in requirements gathering, business process modeling, and functional design
Familiarity with Teamcenter data model and configuration concepts
Understanding of integration points between Teamcenter and other enterprise systems (ERP, CAD, etc.)
Experience with Teamcenter applications such as Workflow Designer, Access Manager, Query Builder, Classification, and Report Builder
Knowledge in one or several Teamcenter topics: Requirements Management, Program Management, Document Management, BOM Management, Manufacturing, Reporting and Analytics (TCRA)
Familiarity with BMIDE for business modeling and configuration
Experience in leading PLM implementation projects
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with Agile methodologies in PLM implementations
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in PLM
Familiarity with change management principles in enterprise software implementations
Experience with other PLM or enterprise systems (e.g., Windchill, Enovia, SAP)
Certification in Teamcenter or other Siemens PLM products
Experience in multiple industries (automotive, aerospace, consumer goods, etc.)
