At L&P Aerospace, we specialize in creating complex tube and duct assemblies using high-performance materials capable of withstanding extreme pressure, temperature, and chemical interaction.
After our materials have gone through the necessary processes, we are left with high-performance finished goods that are ready to be incorporated into assemblies for our customers.

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs receiving and receiving inspection operations on raw material and vendor processed parts, inspection of in-process parts, and final inspection, packaging and shipping of completed parts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Is required to properly unload incoming material and transport it to the initial usage location.
Must be able to correctly identify, wrap, box, transport to and load finished parts onto the truck.
Performs inspection and shipping/receiving operations, working from purchase orders, shop travelers, engineering drawings and sketches, and verbal or written instructions.
Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment.
Verify all items match order specifications and notes.
Inspect products prior to packing.
Stamps, signs, or otherwise approves receiving and shipping documents, packages and/or items evidencing conformance with requirements in accordance with established procedures.
Familiarity required with weldments and welding and related inspection process procedures, such as radiographic, and dye penetrant.
Responsible for the independent completion of each work assignment; but may be assisted by other workers.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the necessary training and experience to evaluate and accept or reject raw material and in-process or completed parts from a quality and dimensional standpoint.
Familiarity with gages and measurement techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English Language. Spanish is a plus.
High level of attention to details and numerically oriented.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform under pressure.
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs, particularly Excel. Ability to be trained in usage of manufacturing applications.
Excellent responsiveness and customer focus.
EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS USED:
Precision measuring instruments, hydrostatic pressure tester, ultrasonic thickness gauge, inspection fixtures, gauges, banding equipment, basic hand tools, and forklifts.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Requires High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (based on experience)
Work Schedule: Afternoons: Monday - Friday,2:30pm – 11:00pm; Full-time, 40 hours per week
