Our client, a leading property management company, is seeking a Building Maintenance Worker to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Worker, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the overall upkeep of the property. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Building Maintenance Worker

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: $19/hr

What's the Job?

• Assist the Arbors Maintenance Manager with various maintenance tasks and respond to requests from management.

• Coordinate the maintenance of the building’s interior and exterior grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness.

• Work in conjunction with general contractors and service vendors to ensure compliance with contract specifications.

• Undertake minor repairs and tasks such as painting, moving furniture, and trash removal.

• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment owned by the property.

What's Needed?

• Previous caretaking, cleaning, or tradesperson experience is preferred.

• Ability to perform duties satisfactorily and independently.

• Strong problem-solving skills and common sense in various situations.

• High attention to detail and trustworthiness.

• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and use ladders and hand tools.
