Assist with the execution of the set-up of events of various scope and for internal and external clients. Assist in the coordination with various departments to ensure successful set-up of both on campus and off campus spaces, and work with vendors regarding deliveries of event-related equipment.

Responsibilities Facilitate event set-ups and take downs. Make decisions regarding last minute set-up change requests feasibility and safety in conjunction with the Event Coordinator. Assist in maintaining equipment inventories in each storage location. Coordinate with Facilities to provide assistance and support for internal event set-ups and equipment drop-offs

Qualifications Education: Minimal Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Minimal Qualifications: 1 year in event and facilities operations Preferred Qualifications: 2 plus years in events and facilities operations

Essential Skills Time Management Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute complicated event set-ups Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external partners Critical thinking and problem solving Professional demeanor Must be able to work nights and weekends, as needed Must be available on short notice
