Job Title: Welder

Job Description

This position is for a welder/fitter who is able to read blueprints and work with mild steel. The role involves working on large mining equipment such as Dump Bodies, Fuel Bodies, and Lube Trucks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable welding FCAW in all positions.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints

  • Work with mild steel, including fabrication and welding

  • Perform FCAW welding in all positions

  • Work on large mining equipment such as Dump Bodies, Fuel Bodies, and Lube Trucks

  • Weld and fabricate components accurately and efficiently

  • Simple wrenching valves, pipe, and hydraulic assemblies to print

Essential Skills

  • Strong Flux Core welding experience

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Experience with MIG welding

  • Proficiency in welding FCAW in all positions

  • Experience working with steel

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Entry-level candidates will be considered and will undergo a weld test ranging from easy to difficult tasks

  • Fitting skills are a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
