JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT

The EOC Outreach Coordinator works with various service agencies to assess and assist disadvantaged adults in entering or re-entering post-secondary education.  This is a Part-time position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assists participants
   1. Assists participants by assessment or providing career information relating to postsecondary education
2. Provides reports
   1. Collects, compiles and provides reports to EOC Director and Assistant Director.
   2. Meets with EOC Director and Assistant Director.
3. Networks
   1. Networks with various agencies that provide services to adults.
   2. Represents EOC at various community events.

4. Other duties, as assigned

   1. Participates in in-service training.

2. Knowledge of local community.

3. Ability to work with diverse groups of people.

    

Minimum Qualifications

[MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)]{.underline}

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling or a related field.

Working Conditiions: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive dust, noise, heat and the like. Community oriented, off campus. Located at local host institution.
