The College of Professional Studies at Shawnee State University is seeking qualified individuals beginning Summer '24 and/or Fall '24 Semesters to serve as needed Respiratory Therapy Clinical Supervisors in the Department of Allied Health. Minimum Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

DESIRED BACKGROUND and/or EXPERIENCE

• Teaching experience in related discipline is preferred         
• One to three years of work experience in Respiratory Therapy is required
• Professional certification/State licensure/RRT credentials*/minimum of Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy

• *MUST be RRT credentialed

Minimum Qualifications * *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE) Qualifications can vary depending on experience and courses or programs, but include the following:  

Associate, Bachelor's, Master's degree in the respective discipline or related area

Ability to use technology in teaching and healthcare settings

Possess excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skills

Ability to use collaborative learning techniques and student-centered methods of instruction

Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multicultural environment

Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evening -- daytime availability a plus (in some cases may be re
