Description

Reputable Portland law firm is seeking a Sr. Paralegal for their Trusts & Estates practice. This role primarily revolves around drafting estate planning documents, assisting in all stages of probate and trust administration, and managing client relationships. The individual would be expected to maintain a working knowledge of the client file to track the progress and best assist clients.

Responsibilities include:

• Draft and review estate planning documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Oregon law.

• Assist with trust administration, including asset identification, valuation, and distribution.

• Prepare and file probate court petitions, pleadings, and other documents.

• Manage client communication, keeping them informed throughout the legal process.

• Maintain accurate and organized case files.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; participation in the company's 401(k) plan with match and paid time off and holidays, and more.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, or probate law.

• Paralegal certificate or associate’s degree in paralegal studies preferred.

• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
