TEKsystems Loss Mitigation Processor - 100% Remote in Portland, Oregon

A large Mortgage company is hiring fully remote Loss Mitigation Processor to join the team - looking for candidates who have any kind of Mortgage Underwriting, LoanServ and Valeri experience!

Pay: $20-25/hr

Schedule: Mon-Fr 8-5pm EST

Start Date: 9/30

BIG preference on individuals who come from a PST and or MST time-zone.

This is a long-term contract. Can be 6-months to 1 year with potential for extension.

Description:

The Loss Mitigation Processor is responsible for processing servicing loan documents, in digital format, and load them into the document management system to optimize business processes, meet regulatory requirements and customer care needs.

Essential Job Functions may include:

-Responsible for digitally combining packages and checking image for quality and accuracy.

-Responsible for identifying correct borrower loan number and cross-reference by name, address, phone number, social security number or email address in LoanServ and Valeri.

-Load document images to electronic document repository database - EDMS and accurately categorize/index.

-Aid in the disposition of documents process.

-Maintain regular and punctual attendance

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

-Experience with document scanning and indexing.

-Proficient in Excel, Adobe Acrobat.

-Knowledge of various file formats.

Education and/or Experience:

-Some College/Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

-Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:

-Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

-Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Personal/Organizational Contacts:

-Regular and substantial contact with others. Contacts usually involve discussions related to policies and programs. Handles sensitive, complex, and/or confidential information.

Customer Service Relationships:

-Requires normal courteous interaction and basic interpersonal skills and tact to communicate with others. Forwards non-routine inquiries or requests to appropriate individual and/or department.

Work Complexity:

-Tasks are highly interrelated and simple. Work consists of fairly standard procedures and tasks.
