Job Title: Lead Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for a small 3-person maintenance team at a facility in N. Portland. This facility is strictly distribution, stocking, and distributing Reusable Plastic Containers (RPCs) by the pallet/truckload to clients in the PNW. The maintenance team is responsible for sorting and sanitizing returned RPCs using a large industrial washing system. The facility is less complex than other service centers, but future upgrades will require a high-level maintenance technician to join and lead the team. The Lead will oversee two other technicians, manage the parts inventory process, including parts ordering, and handle chemical management for the site (inventory of detergent and sanitizer). This is an hourly role, primarily first shift, with availability to respond to 2nd shift mechanical issues if required. Full benefits after the 61st day.

Large distribution facility with a huge conveyor-driven RPC washing machine, expect some water/moisture/wetness.
