SHELTER ATTENDANT, FAMILY SHELTER (SATURDAY-WEDNESDAY)

Health and Human Services Department - Social Services Division - Family Shelter Full-Time (37.5 Hours/Week), Project Position - The schedule for this position is Saturday-Wednesday, 8AM-4:30PM -

This is a position at the City\'s Family Shelter. Duties include monitoring resident sleeping areas, conducting building safety checks and completing shelter intakes. This position will also involve move in/move out cleaning and cleaning of common areas, bathrooms and grounds. Successful candidates in the position will complete shift reports and complete client census data as well as providing after hours general assistance and other duties as required.

Requirements:Graduation from high school with experience in crisis intervention, mental illness, and substance use; or any combination of experience and training. Bring your positive attitude and customer service to this position! Preference for experience working with homeless population or experience working in a homeless shelter.

Salary & Benefits:

CEBA Union position Grade 9 - Pay rate starting at \$19.54 hourly. An additional \$2.00/hour shift differential in effect for nights after 7 PM and all weekend hours.
