Description

We are offering a unique opportunity for an Project Manager in the construction industry, located in Portland, Maine. This role involves overseeing all aspects of construction, from frame to finish, remodels, and renovations. You will be responsible for estimating budget costs for construction, developing bids, and working closely with various professionals in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and estimate budget costs for construction projects by studying plans and specifications

• Write and present budgets, reports, and project plans

• Develop bids for construction projects and work towards obtaining new business

• Schedule and conduct meetings with clients, site managers, and staff

• Navigate and understand building codes and stay up-to-date with safety codes and improvements in construction

• Process paperwork and travel to building sites as required

• Monitor construction processes and resolve cost differences by analyzing and collecting information

• Use your proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Buildertrend software to manage projects efficiently

• Utilize your skills in Construction Estimation, Project Management, and Construction Management to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Candidates must possess proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook.

• Experience in Construction Estimation is necessary.

• Prior experience in Project Management is required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• High level of discretion and confidentiality.

• Proactive problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
