Description

Located in Portland, Maine, and we are currently searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This role centers around handling customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries. It also includes the monitoring of customer accounts and taking appropriate action when needed. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications

• Keep customer credit records up to date and accurate

• Manage customer inquiries and provide solutions promptly

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for efficient processing

• Perform Account Coding as part of the role

• Use ADP - Financial Services for specific tasks

• Carry out Accounts Payable (AP) duties

• Follow Accrual Accounting procedures

• Use Concur and ERP for various accounting functions.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must

• Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting Functions is necessary

• Prior experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Understanding of Accrual Accounting is essential
