Job Details As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility and providing exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Assisting healthcare providers in delivering patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering medications as directed. Performing routine clinical procedures such as phlebotomy and EKGs. Managing the flow of patients within the clinic. Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols, including infection control measures and patient confidentiality. Providing compassionate and professional assistance to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and inquiries with empathy and respect. Collaborating effectively with other members of the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or GED required Licensure/Certification: Certified Medical Assistant & Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Skills, Knowledge or Abilities: Proficient in clinical procedures such as vital signs, medication administration, venipuncture, and EKGs. Strong organizational and administrative skills, including EHR usage and appointment scheduling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy and professionalism in patient interactions Certified completion of a medical assistant program, with current CMA certification Salary Range USD $25.66 - USD $33.36 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
