Naval Sea Systems Command SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in Port Hueneme, California

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIVISION, ACQUISITION BRANCH of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, PORT HUENEME DIVISION. Responsibilities You will serve as a Technical Contracting Analyst and Department Contracts Coordinator overseeing Contract Officer Representatives (COR) for service and material procurements supporting the Command's Professional Support Contracts. You will direct and assure the work of the team is performed successfully and in accordance with NAVSEA Instructions. You will assist the Contracting Officer, Line Codes, and Corporate Operations Department in the planning, administering and exercising financial, programmatic and technical oversight over contracts, SeaPort-e task orders, and other procurements. You will analyze and develop business acquisition metrics and strategies to measure the health of contracts we manage. You will prepare reports and present information on technical and non-technical contract matters. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing contract data to provide technical advice and resolve problems ensuring compliance with Federal acquisition regulations and procedures.
