Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Knowledgeable in one or more craft trades such as welding, pipe/plate/structural fitting, rigging, electrical, mechanical, machining, etc.

``` 2. Assist Superintendent and able to perform all the requirements of a foreman.

``` 3. In charge of multiple foremen.

``` 4. Supervise, coordinate, or assist the activities of the Foreman.

``` 5. Analyze workers or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans.
```{=html}
``` 6. Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.

``` 7. Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.
```{=html}
``` 8. Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and yard sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.

``` 9. Record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports.
```{=html}
``` 10. May assist Foreman with crew time sheets and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma and/or one year certificate from college or technical school preferred.

``` 2. Industrial and/or marine journeyman experience, along with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Open-air conditions such as noisy, hot, cold, etc.

``` 2. You must wear hearing, eye, head protection and proper PPE.
```{=html}
``` 3. Some climbing (100 feet) and lifting (50 lbs.) involved.
```{=html}
``` 4. Traverse gangways and scaffolding at varying heights while wearing fall prevention equipment.
```{=html}
``` 5. Working with hot and sometimes hazardous materials.
```{=html}
``` 6. Aboard ships, both on and offshore as well as confined spaces.
Special Skills:
- Ability to work under deadlines and schedule pressures.

``` 2. Strong Organizational skills

``` 3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings and technical manuals.

``` 4. Perform basic mathematical functions.
