Upholsterers are expected to be able to use a variety of tools, including staple guns, scissors, air drivers, hammers, and mallets to attach the cover to the frame. ::: :::

Requirements

::: {title=""} ::: {contenteditable="false"} ·         Inspect raw materials prior to performing operations to ensure proper quality standards and alert the supervisor to any substandard raw materials or prior operations

·         Using staple guns, scissors, air drivers, hammers, mallets, or other tools attach cover, mechanisms, and springs to frame parts according to specifications to achieve high quality appearance and comfort

·         Assemblers are required to correct any substandard, off-quality work that they produce

·         Maintenance on equipment is required at all times, as well as preventative maintenance

·         Maintain necessary skills to achieve 100% efficiency

·         Adhere to all company policies and promote safety in the workplace by following all company safety rules

·         Promote goodwill and a positive company image to fellow employees and the community

·         Maintain a clean workspace
