The Opportunity-

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Planner to join our team. The Inventory Planner will assist in ensuring inventory availability required to support Repair and Overhaul operations and sales orders.

Additionally, the Inventory Planner will:

  • Perform and sign off on receiving inspections and final inspections to ensure specifications and quality requirements are achieved on incoming parts
  • Assist in maintaining and analyzing forecasting data such as part chains, attrition, and repair lead times
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing and Purchasing to keep track of estimated receipt dates of materials
  • Assist Demand Planners with reviewing and developing strategic supply and inventory stocking strategies and provide feedback on the Aftermarket Forecast
  • Create production orders to complete final assembly and kitting activities
  • Create purchase orders and coordinate the delivery of materials to vendors for repair
  • Participate in inventory audits and identify root cause of discrepancies so corrective action can be determined
  • Work with the Aftermarket Sales team to coordinate inventory availability needed for sales and special projects
  • Assist in developing reports and processes to improve aftermarket inventory control operations and maintain inventory accuracy

Qualifications-

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field is strongly desired
  • Prior experience with SAP preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
