Summary You will serve as a MARINE MACHINERY MECHANIC SUPERVISOR I in the MECHANICAL SHOP (CODE 938), PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will ensure that proper safety equipment is available and arrange for the provision of necessary personal protective equipment. You will conduct daily pre-job briefings. You will enforce safety, fire, radiological and other regulations and maintain good housekeeping in work areas supervised. You will recommend purchase of new machines, tools, and relocation of equipment.
