The HR Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting Daikin Applied's Employee Services Team by utilizing tools and systems to provide strong administrative support to the organization. Under general supervision, you will assist with HR functions such as employee record management, data entry, HR compliance, reporting, onboarding, and other various HR related administrative duties. Location: Hybrid in our Plymouth, MN office on Mondays and Thursdays A Day in the Life: Maintain employee database by processing and updating the HRIS system for hires, terms, job changes, salary/wage changes, personal data, etc. Follow outlined processes and procedures to ensure consistent data entry. Establish, organize, and maintain up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with federal and state requirements. Assist in managing the onboarding process, including employee communications as well as gathering and filing of documents. Administer and distribute exit surveys to departing employees and prepare employee separation notices and related documentation. Prepare and distribute various HR reports (i.e., turnover, new hires, transfers, terminations, etc.). Coordinate and assist with employee engagement activities. Respond to unemployment insurance related inquiries. Monitor employment verifications and complete any manual verifications that are not completed by the third party (The Work Number). Perform clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, and other documents for employees. Assist with various other administrative duties as assigned by the Employee Services Manager. Assists with various HR projects and initiates as assigned.
