The Facilities Engineer II works with Maintenance & Production Supervisors daily, planning & scheduling and solving site wide issues. Be proficient in using Shared Points, Excel, Word, Power Point, and some SAP knowledge is a plus. Have a strong understanding of the parts ordering process for both Maintenance and Production materials, i.e., creating and maintaining spare parts. Must be able to communicate and articulate to internal and external customers. Will be responsible for setting up and managing contractor purchase agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the maintenance scheduling team to develop daily work assignments for the maintenance trades, which should have the following roles in attendance.

• All First Line Maintenance Supervisors

• Maintenance Manager

• Reliability Engineers

• Crew Leaders

• Others as appropriate

• Finalize the next day’s work schedule, such that it can be available for the daily maintenance work schedule meeting.

• Look ahead for possible opportunities to complete PMs for all shifts.

• Monitor and upkeep of the Service Request share point.

• For each step of our process, be safety and quality conscious.

• Strong team-working skills and beliefs in the benefit of teamwork and work processes.

• Manage critical spares

• Create a system to inventory critical spares.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

MUST HAVE:

• 2+ years’ experience in maintenance and/or manufacturing, with a strong understanding of how maintenance activities are conducted and work accomplished.

• 2+ years of full-time plant maintenance (PM) module of SAP, or other SAP experience.

WE VALUE:

• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

• Strong Micro Soft Power Point skills, such that training materials can be developed and prepared relative to SAP transaction.

• Well versed in the functional use of Micro Soft Excel, with focus on pivot tables and graphs

• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities as required.

• Strong communications skills, both verbally and in written form, not only within the maintenance team but also with internal customers, external contractors and vendors.

• Desire to garner and use constructive feedback in a positive manner to improve personal performance

• Must have ability to work individually or as part of a highly cross functional team, ability to work independently with minimal supervision is a must.

• Self-starter with the drive and initiative to solve problems within the Work Process, with Planners, Schedulers and Maintenance personnel without the need to be asked to do so. The applies to both the work process and the use of the SAP Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMSS)

• Must possess the skills and techniques required to train Operators, Mechanics and Operations Maintenance Gatekeepers in the required functional SAP transaction relative to their job assignments.
