WHAT YOU'LL DO: This position is responsible for performing servicing related functions on consumer loans throughout the life of the loan. Serve as the subject matter expert on products, vendors and systems, consumer loan servicing tasks, as well as policy and procedure adherence and management, and tasks that impact or rely upon credit reporting. This position is also responsible for assisting the department manager and acting as an additional resource for other team members while staying up-to-date on servicing related rules and regulations. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm at our Plymouth Corporate Office location; non-exempt. In addition: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. 2+ years loan servicing experience, origination, underwriting or related experience. Knowledge of credit bureau disputes, corrections and regulatory requirements, preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Previous customer service experience in a financial institution, preferred. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Strong math aptitude and keyboarding skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent time-management and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail. Ability to work as a team player by being flexible and dependable. Ability to work independently while displaying initiative and strong problem-solving, analytical thinking and decision-making skills. Ability to work and maintain a high level of professionalism in a changing, challenging, and fast paced work environment with variable stress levels. Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and various background checks. Regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.
