Job Title: Program Management Intern

Department: Program Management

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: The Program Management Intern will support various aspects of program coordination, scheduling, and reporting. This role provides hands-on experience in project planning, tracking progress, and assisting with the execution of key initiatives. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure program goals are met efficiently and on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking the progress of ongoing projects.

  • Help prepare program documentation, including status reports and meeting notes.

  • Support communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.

  • Monitor project milestones and ensure timelines are met.

  • Assist in identifying and mitigating risks that may impact program timelines or objectives.

  • Contribute to project performance reviews and improvement initiatives.

Competencies:

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Attention to detail in preparing project documentation and reports.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and assist in problem-solving.

  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Background Prerequisites:

  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
